Our Goals
ICCC Qur’an Academy was established to maintain the tradition of Qur’an recitation and memorization. The primary goal is to teach the fluent recitation of the Qur’an in conjunction with the science of Tajwīd. Additionally, students will learn basic Surah memorization and lessons in performing and leading Salat. Also part of the curriculum is education of the basics of Islam: wudu, Salat, simple duas, and elucidation upon the 5 pillars.
Schedule
Classes take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 5:15pm-7:30pm.
Session 1: 5:15pm-6:30pm
Session 2: 6:15pm-7:30pm
Session placement is contingent on open space availability.
Audience
The Qur’an Academy is intended for young boys and girls:
Boys: Ages 7 to 18
Girls: Ages 7 to 12
